Matthew Matt James, born on December 5, 1991, at North Carolina. He has parents named Manny James as well as Patty James. He has an Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. His father is Nigerian and his mother is an American of caucasian descent. He completed his studies at Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of Economics in 2015. James became famous after he appeared on screen for his debut on the reality star for The Bachelorette. James was selected in the year 2020 to play the role of the new bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's first African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James is a great fit for this role as the tall and handsome man is charming. Rachael Krkconnell was selected to play his partner during the season. He partnered with the famous choreographer Arnold in 2021. They competed in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
