Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. Parents are Manny James as well as Patty James. He is the blood of a Nigerian mother, and an American caucasian father. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. He has graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010 Then he went to Wake Forest University, where He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015 James gained fame after he appeared on screen for his debut as a reality television star for The Bachelorette. In the year 2020, he was selected as the Bachelor for season 25, which was the first African American male lead which then aired on the show in 2021. James seemed to be the perfect choice to the job because his height is tall, handsome and well-rounded with a sense comedy. Rachael krkconnell was chosen as James' partner for this season. In the season 30, (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, James competed alongside dancer Arnold. James and Arnold were ranked 12th.
