Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. He is the daughter of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. He is the son of Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. He graduated in 2010 in the class of Sanderson High School. In 2015, he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Economics at Wake Forest University. James made headlines when He became a reality-TV star in The Bachelorette. James was chosen in 2020 to be the next bachelor in The Bachelor season 25, which was the first season to feature an African American male star. The show debuted later in that year. James seemed to be the perfect choice for the role because he is handsome well-rounded tall and funny. He also has a great sense of comedy.
