Alicia Malone

The year 2015 saw Alicia undergo the interview process to join FilmStruck a TCM streaming service for movies. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone in order to practice reading them aloud to the camera before her TCM broadcast host audition. After being interviewed in the race for the Turner Classic Movies host position in 2017, the network gave her the job in the January following the audition. Malone has discussed the difficulties facing women in the film industry in two separate TEDx talk. Maree Malone has been featured on numerous other programs, including Today NPR CNN The Movies documentary MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight (ET) MTV and ABC's 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar pre-show. The actress also founded and hosted Fandango's YouTube channel Indie Movie Guide.
